Charity voices fears for poor households in London

A leading charity has echoed concerns that government plans to cap housing benefit could drive people in lower income households out of central London.

Shelter says a report it commissioned shows that the maximum of £290 pounds a week for a 2-bedroom home would be insufficient for many claimants.
