BA boss warns of further disruption at Heathrow Airport

The chief executive of British Airways has warned of further disruption at Heathrow Airport over the next few days as Britain remains in the grip of freezing weather conditions.

Willie Walsh said the airport authorities were working as hard as they could to ensure some flights leave and arrive tomorrow. But he urged passengers to cancel their flights if they really did not need to travel.

There have been only a handful of arrivals and departures today leaving thousands of people stranded at the airport.
