Police say the landscape architect Joanna Yeates was strangled

Police in Bristol say a post-mortem examination has shown the landscape architect, Joanna Yeates, was strangled.

The body of Miss Yeates, who was twenty-five, was discovered by a couple walking their dogs on Christmas Day.

The Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Phil Jones, appealed for more help from the public.
