'Robust' response promised for future protests in London

The new head of public order policing in London has promised a "robust" response if there are more violent protests in 2011.

Assistant Commissioner Lynne Owens has told the BBC there are no plans for continental-style use of water cannon.

But, in her first TV interview since taking on the job, she said that violence on the streets of the capital would never be tolerated.
