Plymouth police hunt crossbow robbery pair

Police are hunting two armed men who robbed a post office in Plymouth with a crossbow and injured the shop owner.

The two men, who were also armed with a knife, entered the Efford Road Post Office at about 0615 GMT.

They threatened the shop owner, demanding cigarettes and money from the till.

The shop's owner was hurt when the crossbow was thrust into his face. Both men are considered to be dangerous and should not be approached, police said.
