NI water: Belfast reservoirs 'precarious'

Belfast's water reservoirs remain in a "precarious" position after burst water pipes led to a crisis in water supplies in Northern Ireland, NI Water has admitted.

Speaking after a meeting of the board, interim chairman Padraic White said that just three of the burst pipes were responsible for the loss of 10m litres of water per day.

On Thursday, First Minister Peter Robinson described the response of NI Water to the crisis as shambolic.
