Army apologises for sending redundancy e-mails

The Army has apologised after 38 soldiers were told they were to lose their jobs by e-mail.

One of them was serving in Afghanistan when the message was sent.

The Ministry of Defence says it is sorry for the distress caused and that all those affected have been offered advice and support.

Jane-Frances Kelly reports.
