Rescued from the Libyan desert by UK military

Two RAF Hercules have been used to rescue about 150 workers from the Libyan desert, as protests against Col Gaddafi continue.

The planes, carrying Britons and other foreign nationals, arrived in Malta on Saturday evening.

Oil worker Peter Dingle was one of those who was evacuated in the operation. He spoke to the BBC after arriving in Malta.
