Police name killed submarine sailor

A Royal Navy crewman shot dead on board a nuclear submarine has been officially named by the Ministry of Defence as Lieutenant Commander Ian Molyneux.

A second sailor was also shot and is in a stable condition in hospital. A Royal Navy sailor is being questioned on suspicion of murder.

Chief Superintendent David Thomas told a news conference that officers have been granted more time to question the suspect.
