Eight officers injured in Bristol riot over new Tesco store

Police in Bristol say eight officers were injured and nine people arrested during overnight clashes in the Stokes Croft area of the city.

About 300 protesters took to the streets after police raided a squat and found a number of petrol bombs.

Around 160 police officers, some in full riot gear, arrested four people who were said to pose "a real threat to the local community".
