Ash respite for UK air travellers

Most flights have resumed across the UK after a day that saw thousands of passengers affected by an ash cloud from an erupting Icelandic volcano.

But some flights within the UK and a number to Germany have been cancelled.

Ash might return to affect much of the UK on Friday with the potential to disrupt flights, although officials say the volcano has stopped erupting.

Richard Scott reports.
