Public toilets sold for £104,000

A 100-year-old public toilet block on the seafront at Sheringham in Norfolk has sold for £104,000 at auction, more than twice the guide price.

The toilets closed five years ago, and planning permission has since been granted to turn the building into a holiday home.

Funds from the sale will go towards the cost of building a new set of public lavatories.
