MPs warn of early Afghan withdrawal

A group of MPs has strongly criticised the way British troops were first deployed to Afghanistan.

Members of the Defence Select Committee also warned against any premature withdrawal saying that pulling out any more than a few hundred support troops could dangerously weaken the remaining forces.
