Violence flares in Manchester amid fresh rioting

Shops have closed early and riot police have been despatched in parts of England as trouble continues for another night.

In Manchester, a shop has been set alight and in nearby Salford, people have begun smashing shop windows and taking alcohol from a shopping centre.

Tony Lloyd, the Labour MP for Manchester Central spoke to the BBC about what he knew.
