Leveson Inquiry: Mulcaire's notebooks details revealed

Robert Jay QC has outlined the details found in the private investigator Glenn Mulcaire's notebooks relating to investigations he was asked to carry out by News International journalists.

According to Jay, Mulcaire was allegedly tasked with carrying out 2,266 investigations.

Lord Justice Leveson's inquiry is looking at the culture, practices and ethics of the press and if its self-regulation works.

Hearings will later examine the extent of unlawful conduct by the press, and the police's initial hacking investigation.
