Winds and floods cause disruption around UK

Strong winds have been causing damage and disruption across the country, with overnight gusts of up to 111mph in the Pennines.

Thousands of homes and businesses are without power in England and Scotland.

The River Dee, which borders North Wales and England, has flooded. As Anthony Bartram reports, trees have been blown down in Lincolnshire.
