Police clear Parliament Square protesters

Police have cleared tents and removed protesters from Parliament Square in central London.

Anti-war protesters had been camping in the square, which faces the Houses of Parliament, since 2001.

Police say that the operation started early on Monday evening and will continue until the site has been cleared.

Paul Curran reports.
