Shelter's rental property danger warning

More than 80 thousand tenants in England complained about accommodation rented from private landlords last year.

The housing charity, Shelter, says many families are living in dangerous conditions and it wants the Government to give them greater protection.

The biggest rise in complaints has been in the North West.
