March 1977: Cheers and protests greet Queen in Sydney

Protesters calling for Australian independence have marred the Queen's arrival in Sydney.

The demonstrations were in contrast to the mostly warm reception given to the Queen and Prince Philip as they continued their trip to mark the Silver Jubilee.

Bob Friend reports from Sydney.

First broadcast 13 March 1977.
