Guersey police investigate explosion in Fort George house

A post mortem examination is to take place after a man's body was found in a property in Guersey after an explosion.

Army experts have joined police after they found the body of a middle aged man in the exclusive area of Fort George. Two others at the home were unharmed.

Local police say suspected bomb making equipment was found. But Det Chief Inspector Ruari Hardy of Guernsey Police said there was no evidence of any link to terrorism.
