Job fears of Newcastle's unemployed

With the government's public service cuts continuing to take affect, different areas of the UK are suffering to various degrees from the consequences.

The north-east of England has some of the most deep seated challenges in the country, with the jobless rate running at almost 11%.

Despite a recent small fall in unemployment last month and the return of steel making to the region, there are still places in the the north east where people fear they have little prospect of finding a job.

Anna Adams reports on the fears of Newcastle's jobless population.
