Grass and soil from Gandhi's assassination spot being auctioned

Items that belonged to Mahatma Gandhi will be auctioned in Shropshire, including grass and soil from the spot where he was assassinated in 1948.

But the sale has sparked outrage among many in India, with politicians threatening to take up the matter through diplomatic channels.
