100 days to go until the London 2012 Olympics

Some 20,000 plants have been used to create the Olympic rings for a display at London's Kew Gardens marking the last 100 days before the start of the 2012 Olympics.

The floral display lies directly under the path of planes flying into Heathrow airport and is a sight passengers flying into London in the coming months are likely to be able to see.

The BBC's sports editor David Bond reports.
