Queen embarks on Diamond Jubilee tour of Wales

The Queen is embarking on a two-day tour of Wales to mark the Diamond Jubilee later.

She and the Duke of Edinburgh will start her visit on Thursday with a service at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff celebrating her 60-year reign.

The royal party will then travel to Margam and Merthyr, followed on Friday by Aberfan, Ebbw Vale and Glanusk Park, near Crickhowell.

Hywel Griffith reports.
