Web porn protection 'already available'

Internet service providers already offer the sort of tools needed to protect children from internet pornography, the director of Big Brother Watch has said.

Nick Pickles told the BBC he did not think the "great firewall of Britain option" - where people have to opt in to receiving adult content - would work.

"Internet service providers already offer parents tools that they can install on their computers... we should maker that easier and make sure that parents are able to use them. What we shouldn't be doing is letting the government decide what we can all see online."
