What does Queen's Speech mean for families?

Plans for more flexible parental leave, speedier adoptions and a radical shake-up of support for children with special educational needs have been announced in the Queen's Speech.

Measures which the government says will put families at the "front and centre of national life" are planned for the next session of Parliament.

Under the plans, mothers could share their maternity leave with fathers.

Reeta Chakrabarti gets parents' views.
