Olympic flame makes its way to UK

The Olympic flame is on its way to the UK on board a flight from Athens for the start of the 2012 torch relay.

It is due to arrive at an air base in Cornwall on Friday evening, in time to be at Land's End on Saturday for the start of its 8,000-mile relay.

Princess Anne, chairman of Games organisers Locog, Lord Coe, and David Beckham are travelling with it.

The BBC's Jane Hill reports.
