Hunt back in spotlight at Leveson Inquiry

The Leveson Inquiry has heard that Jeremy Hunt, the Culture Secretary, sent a memo to the Prime Minister backing Rupert Murdoch's bid for BSkyB just weeks before he was given a crucial role in the process.

The inquiry has been hearing from Fred Michel, a key aide at News Corp, and Adam Smith, the former special adviser to the culture secretary.

Mr Smith has already resigned over the affair.

James Landale reports.
