McGuinness 'extending hand of peace' during Queen's visit

The Queen is embarking on a two-day visit to Northern Ireland, which includes a meeting with former IRA leader and Northern Ireland's deputy first minister Martin McGuinness.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Mr McGuinness said by shaking the Queen's hand, he would be symbolically "extending the hand of peace and reconciliation".
