Thousands take part in Armed Forces Day

Members of the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force have been taking part in events across the country to mark Armed Forces Day.

In Plymouth thousands lined the streets as men and women from all three services marched through the city.

While in Afghanistan the Chief of the Defence Staff has paid tribute to all those who serve.
