G4S trainee security staff still unsure about their roles

The Home Secretary has confirmed to Parliament that an extra 3,500 service personnel are needed to cover security at the Olympics.

The private security firm G4S cannot recruit and vet enough staff in time for the Games, which are due to start in a fortnight.

Theresa May says that those who are already drafted in will not lose out and G4S says it understands the government's decision to bring in additional resources.

BBC Radio 5 live's Tony Livesey spoke to three Olympic security trainees who got the job at G4S earlier this year bt have not heard anything since.
