Touchdown for London 2012 athletes

The first athletes and officials have arrived for London 2012, with Heathrow Airport experiencing one of its busiest ever days.

The first dedicated games lane has also opened on the M4 in West London to transport competitors to the Olympic village.

Preparations for London 2012 have been intensifying with the opening ceremony just 11 days away.
