London 2012: Police chief Bernard Hogan-Howe 'confident'

London 2012 chairman Lord Coe has promised a "safe and secure Games" despite the security guards fiasco.

He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme ''we have got the numbers, courtesy of the military and our police services''.

Meanwhile, speaking at the security control room at the Olympic Park, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe said he was happy with the arrangements.
