Should all Olympic gold medallists be awarded honours?

Team GB athletes have been warned not to expect an automatic honour from the Queen after a change in the rules by the committee that hands them out.

Medallists will only make the list if they are judged to have "given back" to their sport or society as a whole.

Former rower Tim Foster MBE told 5 liveYour Call that he agreed with the change while Sir Matthew Pinsent CBE said winning a gold medal on home soil should be "most recognised".
