C/pl Roney inquest: 'Brother was an excellent soldier'

The brother of a British soldier killed in a so-called friendly fire attack has paid tribute to him after a coroner ruled that "cumulative failures" contributed to his death.

Staff Sgt William Roney said L/Cpl Christopher Roney was an "excellent soldier" who "wanted to do something different with his life".

L/Cpl Roney, 23, was killed in 2009 when two US Apache helicopters attacked a British base in Afghanistan's Helmand Province.
