Business minister Michael Fallon crackdown on 'red tape'

Thousands of businesses including shops, offices and pubs, will be exempt from routine health and safety inspections as part of a government plan to cut red tape.

At least 3,000 regulations will be scrapped under the new proposals to promote economic growth.

Business minister Michael Fallon explained the thinking behind the changes.
