Police in Cardiff have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a series of hit and run incidents on Friday afternoon.

One woman, Karina Menzies, had died. Eleven other people, five of them children, were taken to hospital.

Speaking at news conference Detective Superintendent Paul Hurley said he hoped some of the injured will be well enough to be discharged from hospital over the weekend.

A 31-year-old man is still being questioned.
