PM: New investigation to ensure Wales abuse victims heard

David Cameron says "no stone will be left unturned" to get to the truth about claims of child sexual abuse at care homes in North Wales in the 1970s and 80s.

The Prime Minister said an independent figure would investigate whether a public inquiry 12 years ago did its job properly.

The investigation into the Waterhouse inquiry would "find out whether there was something wrong with it" and ensure "victims are properly listened to."
