Abuse inquiry police arrest man

A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of sexual offences, the Metropolitan Police have said.

The man is the seventh person to be questioned by officers working on Operation Yewtree, which is the investigation set up in the wake of the Jimmy Savile scandal.

But Scotland Yard said it was not connected to the allegations made against the late BBC presenter.
