NoW leak officer: CPS statement

A senior Metropolitan Police officer has been found guilty of misconduct in a public office for offering to sell information on the phone hacking inquiry to the News of the World.

The Crown Prosecution Service's Greg McGill said that not only was Detective Chief Inspector April Casburn trying to sell confidential information, "but she sought to leak details... to the very newspaper under investigation."
