Prince Philip given honours during Canada visit

The Duke of Edinburgh is on a visit to Canada where he will present a regiment with a new ceremonial flag.

Prince Philip will present new colours as colonel-in-chief to the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment.

Following his arrival in Toronto, the Duke was presented with the insignia of a Companion of the Order of Canada and Commander of the Order of Military Merit by the Governor General of Canada, David Johnston.
