Murray's 'unbelievably challenging' final

Andy Murray has described winning the Wimbledon final, in which he beat Novak Djokovic three sets to love, as the "best day of my life so far".

He has become the first British man for 77 years to win the British grand slam.

Speaking to Today programme presenter John Humphrys, he explained how he approached the game: "Yesterday was an unbelievably physical match and mentally challenging.

"You need to be able to embrace that. I don't know about enjoy it but you need to embrace that situation that you're in on the court."
