Attorney General: Jurors' behaviour 'unacceptable'

Two jurors jailed for contempt of court behaved in an "unacceptable" manner, the attorney general has said.

Kasim Davey, 21, from London, posted an abusive Facebook message during the trial of a man accused of sex offences.

And in a separate case Joseph Beard, 29, had told jurors in a fraud trial what he had learned about the case online.

Dominic Grieve told BBC News that the men risked the trials they were involved in and in one case caused a re-trial which cost the tax payer £200,000.
