The papers: Friday's front pages

Broadcaster Henry Bonsu and Rosamund Urwin, columnist for the London Evening Standard, joined the BBC News Channel to look at what is making the news on Friday.

They began by discussing the Times front page story highlighting the Pope's comments on freedom of expression following last week's attack on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

They moved on to the Daily Mail, which examines new figures on asylum seekers arriving in the UK via Calais.

Other talking points included the Independent's front page report about a fall in the number of registered voters.
