Met Police: Syria crisis 'spurred terror surge'

The crisis in Syria has let to a surge in investigations and interventions carried out by anti-terrorism officers, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Counter-terrorism co-ordinator, Deputy Assistant Commissioner Helen Ball told the BBC's Andrew Marr show that there had been an "enormous increase" in recent years.
