Rochdale child abuse victims 'let down' by police

An internal investigation by Greater Manchester Police has found significant failings in its handling of child sex abuse allegations in Rochdale.

Greater Manchester Police discovered flaws in both procedures and individual officers.

The force also failed to recognise the scale of grooming and abuse of vulnerable young girls by a network of men in the town.

No disciplinary action will be taken against any officers.

Robert Hall reports.
