UK families remember Afghan war dead at at St Paul's service

A ceremony and parade have taken place at St Paul's Cathedral to mark the end of Britain's 13 year involvement in the Afghanistan war.

In attendance were veterans and the families of some of the servicemen and women who lost their lives.

Staff Sergeant Brett Linley was killed in 2010 while on bomb disposal duties in Helmand and later awarded a George Cross for bravery.

His mother, Anne Linley, who attended the ceremony and parade, said the "respect shown by the public" for those who lost their lives was "wonderful".

Sian Lloyd reports.
