Police appeal for historic abuse victims to come forward

The Metropolitan Police have made a fresh appeal for victims and witnesses of historical child abuse to come forward and give evidence.

The Met's Deputy Assistant Commissioner Steve Rodhouse said detectives had not found large numbers of victims willing to come forward, but cases could only progress if they did.
