A boy who killed a man has been given an 11-year sentence

A thirteen-year-old boy has been convicted of murdering a man after a dispute about access to a block of flats in north London.

The boy pleaded guilty to murdering Christopher Barry, a 53-year-old builder, outside the flats in Edmonton.

Due to his age the boy cannot be named, and the judge recommended he should be detained for least 11 years.

Daniel Sandford reports.
