Alps ski instructor describes how British boy may have fallen

A British child has died in a skiing accident in the French Alps, with reports saying it was a seven-year-old boy on a family holiday.

The Foreign Office said the accident happened in Flaine, 38 miles north-west of Chamonix, on Friday.

Yann Westercamp, a ski instructor from the resort, told the BBC's Chris Eakin how the incident could have happened.

"If you keep going in the wrong direction, unfortunately you get [to] the cliff and it's easy to fall," he said.
